HELPING LOVING PET PARENTS IN THE DENVER FOOTHILLS

Highway 285: Peaceful Pet Euthanasia At Home

Compassionate Pet Euthanasia In The 285 Corridor, Colorado
(Mountain Towns From Morrison To Bailey)

When your dog or cat is nearing the end of their days, and you need to make the best decision for them and their comfort, what do you do? When you feel like they’re not enjoying their days as much as they used to, they’re moving more slowly, and they’re just looking sad, what do you do? Who do you turn to when you’re considering pet euthanasia in the 285 corridor?

Dr. Amy can help. She’s the experienced, caring veterinarian who owns Peace For Paws Mobile Euthanasia based in Morrison, Colorado. She serves pet parents along every inch of the Highway 285 corridor from Morrison, where 285 and C-470 cross, all the way up to the farther reaches of Bailey. And if you’d like to meet Dr. Amy first, visit this page, where you’ll find videos that show just how much she truly cares about every animal she meets.

Highway 285 Southbound Towards Fairplay

On C-470, the signs tell you that Highway 285 South goes to Fairplay. That’s true, but Fairplay is quite a distance beyond Dr. Amy’s service area. It’s all the small mountain towns on the way up to Bailey, where she can help your pet say their goodbyes in peace and dignity.

Living up here, we know Highway 285 south-west of Denver can be a challenge for some drivers. Heavy trucks often have problems (in both directions) with the steep, winding curves at the base of the foothills. And if your pet’s health ends up deteriorating quickly, and your veterinarian’s office is down the hill, that stressful trip may not be your best option.

You have the choice to stay home in comfortable surroundings and have Dr. Amy come to you.

Whether you’re in Indian Hills, or farther north in Idledale, or even in any part of Evergreen, that’s not a problem. You’re still in Dr. Amy’s immediate service area, where your pet can receive the utmost in end-of-life care. If you’ve never lost a pet, you couldn’t choose a better veterinarian for a first-time in-home pet euthanasia experience. Her manner, professionalism, and endless empathy are unsurpassed.

Tinytown and Homestead are just a little farther south and within Dr. Amy’s caring hands for pet euthanasia in the 285 corridor in Colorado. If you live up South Turkey Creek Road, either side of Tinytown, or in Hilldale Pines, or anywhere off South Turkey Creek Road, all the way past Windy Point, you’re safe. Dr. Amy knows the area well, and can easily visit you to help care for your dog or cat.

Serving Windy Point, Aspen Park, And Conifer

Back on Highway 285, just past Homestead and the fire station, we reach Windy Point. That’s a well-named stretch of road and not out of reach in any way. Whether you’re off Doubleheader or on the south side of the highway, you’re in good hands with Dr. Amy - only a call away.

Once you pass the Stop 4 Gas and Mexico Lindo at Windy Point, you head down a hill into Aspen Park, where South Turkey Creek meets up again with Highway 285 by Meyer Ranch. Whether you’re near the highway or off one of the back roads near West Jeff Middle School, Dr. Amy can help.

As Highway 285 climbs again toward Conifer Safeway, passing Ace Hardware and West Jeff Elementary School, wherever your home is in this area, we can help with in-home euthanasia for your pet.

Coming up to Conifer and the area around Staples, where Highway 73 meets Highway 285, that’s the quick route to cut across to Evergreen, where we can also reach you in the Blue Creek area, Shadow Mountain, and Black Mountain. Compassionate in-home pet euthanasia is never far away.

Just call Dr. Amy for help.

On the south side of Highway 285, Foxton is easy to reach via Foxton Road, and also leads us to Buffalo Creek, which again, is within Dr. Amy’s service area. On the north side of Highway 285 is the Kennedy Gulch turn, which leads us up one side of Conifer Mountain. Then, continuing southbound on Highway 285, we climb Richmond Hill and head down the other side toward Kings Valley. Dr. Amy serves all of these areas with her locally owned and operated mobile pet euthanasia service in the Denver foothills.

Pet Euthanasia In The 285 Corridor, Colorado: Pine And Bailey

In-home euthanasia for pets in the Denver foothills is never out of reach. Once past Kings Valley, Highway 285 dips down continually toward Shaffer’s Crossing and Elk Creek Road, which runs north-south under the highway. We can reach Pine Grove by using South Elk Creek Road and driving past the Bucksnort Saloon. North on Elk Creek Road, we serve the area surrounding Staunton State Park.

Heading on up the hill to Pine Junction, a left turn onto Highway 126 takes us to Pine Grove and Buffalo Creek. A right turn at the same traffic light takes us into the Woodside subdivision toward Lion’s Head, and we can help support and comfort pets and their parents here, too.

Heading past Golden Pine and Cruz-In, we can also provide end-of-life care for those pet families in Wandcrest, Will-O-Wisp, and down the hill to Roland Valley. Continuing past Rosalie Road, we reach the Loaf & Jug gas station, where we can turn onto Highway 43 toward Deer Creek Valley Ranchos and head all the way back to serve Harris Park, too.

Back on Highway 285, heading southbound again, we take Crow Hill down and into the town of Bailey. We at Peace For Paws Mobile Euthanasia are honored to support those of you who live in any of these areas along the Highway 285 corridor needing assistance in easing your pet’s pain and saying a peaceful, dignified goodbye.

Not only will Dr. Amy honor your pet with love and respect, but she’ll support you as pet parents too. We promise your experience of in-home pet euthanasia in the Denver foothills will be as gentle on both you and your pet as possible.
